What is EDC?
EDC stands for evidenca delovnega časa, Slovenian for working-time records. It is a web app where employees record arrivals, departures, breaks and absences, and it calculates hours, overtime and night work under ZEPDSV-A and exports them to payroll software.
It is built for Slovenian employers, multi-site companies and payroll bureaus. We develop it at MediaAtlas, a small team from Sevnica. You register your company at edc.pointer-it.si and can start the same day.
Every Employer Must Keep Detailed Records
Since 20 November 2023 the ZEPDSV-A act requires every employer in Slovenia to record working time in detail — breaks, overtime, night work and absences included. Fines are high and the paperwork is slow.
Legal Obligation
Overtime caps of 8 hours per week and 170 per year, mandatory breaks, night-work rules and five-year retention — all of it must be provable on inspection.

Assign tags to employees or locations; a single tap registers the event. QR fallback for devices without NFC.

Working minutes including business trips, proportional breaks (30 min for 8 h, 15 min for 4–6 h), break overrun detection and night work (23:00–06:00).
Legal Limits with Warnings
Weekly and yearly overtime counters with visual alerts as you approach the limit — 90 % triggers an alarm.

Payroll Export

Every arrival, departure, break and absence is saved the moment it happens, and managers see it live. The only exception is offline: with no signal the app keeps the entry on the phone and syncs it as soon as the connection is back.

What is EDC?

Does every employer in Slovenia have to keep working-time records?
Yes. Since 20 November 2023, ZEPDSV-A requires every employer in Slovenia to keep detailed working-time records, including breaks, overtime, night work and absences. The records have to stand up to an inspection.
How do employees clock in?
On the web, with the mobile PWA that also works offline, or by tapping an NFC tag or scanning a QR code. Companies with several sites can turn on a geofence that checks the clock-in happens within the branch radius.
Does EDC export hours to payroll software?
Yes, to Vasco (TXT), Pantheon (CSV) and eDavki (XML). You map internal codes to the codes of your accounting system, and the period locks after approval.
When do you not need EDC?
If your HR or payroll software already keeps ZEPDSV-A records and employees enter their hours there as they work, you don't need another app. EDC helps most where hours are still kept on paper or in spreadsheets.
