The Principle

Your privacy is not a feature. It is a right. MediaAtlas operates on the fundamental belief that individuals should have complete sovereignty over their own data and digital identity. We collect no personal data except what you choose to send us through the inquiry form and the standard server access log described below. We use no cookies. We deploy no tracking mechanisms. This is not a compromise or a marketing claim—it is our architecture.

What We Collect

Only what you send us.

This website (mediaatlas.si) is static. It has no analytics platforms, no third-party trackers and no behavioral monitoring. The one exception is the inquiry form on the contact page: if you submit it, we receive the name, company, e-mail, optional phone number and the description of your task that you enter, plus the page you came from and your browser type. We use these details only to reply to your inquiry and to count how many inquiries reach us through which page. They are sent to our own mailbox and kept in a file on our web hosting; nothing is shared with third parties or used for marketing lists. We keep inquiries for 24 months, then delete them. To see or delete what you sent, write to info@mediaatlas.si. The legal basis is your consent and steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and (b)).

When you visit this site, your browser makes a standard HTTP request. Our hosting provider's web server records it in a standard access log:

  • Your IP address
  • The time of the request
  • The resource requested and the referring page
  • The HTTP response code
  • The User-Agent string (browser type)

We use these logs only for security and for aggregate visit statistics (how many visits, which pages, which referring sites), without cookies and without profiling. The logs are rotated and deleted by the hosting provider after a limited period. We do not combine them with other data or try to identify individual visitors.

No Cookies

We do not use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, or any other tracking technologies. Your browser may cache static assets for performance, but this is entirely under your control.

No Third Parties

We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose any information about our visitors. Inquiry form details are used only to reply to you. There are no third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or content delivery networks that could track your activity.

Data Security

Inquiry details are stored only in our mailbox and in a file that is not reachable from the web. Our website is hosted on infrastructure that employs industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and regular security updates.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use this website.

International Data Transfers

We do not transfer inquiry data to anyone. It stays with our web hosting and e-mail provider, which we use to receive it.

Your Rights

Under GDPR you have the following rights. For browsing the site they are satisfied by design, since we keep no personal data about visitors. For an inquiry you sent us, write to info@mediaatlas.si and we act within 30 days:

  • Right to Access: we send you what we hold from your inquiry.
  • Right to Rectification: we correct it.
  • Right to Erasure: we delete it.
  • Right to Data Portability: we send it in a common format.
  • Right to Object and to withdraw consent: at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
  • Right to Restriction: we stop processing it. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (ip-rs.si).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
